This project aims to develop CDI infrastructure of "Ovidius" University of Constanta by setting up a reference centre in Romania and SE Region for the study of malignant pathology. The investment involves building near "St. Andrew" Clinical Emergency Hospital of Constanta of a CENTER FOR RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT OF THE MORPHOLOGICAL AND GENETIC STUDYIES OF MALIGNANT PATHOLOGY, and endowing it with modern medical research equipment and technology.
Also, to ensure the optimal framework for the clinical application of results of the research conducted by the team of the Pathological Anatomy Department of "Ovidius" Faculty of Medicine, will be modernized the Pathology Laboratory of Clinical Hospital. The equipment and the infrastructure of the proposed project allow the performance of immunohistochemical and genetic investigation for the diagnosis of malignant proliferative processes which will allow performing the research to the highest standards, pursuant to European trends.
