CENTER FOR RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT OF THE MORPHOLOGICAL AND GENETIC STUDYIES OF MALIGNANT PATHOLOGY
CEDMOG a RDI infrastructure of "OVIDIUS" University of Constanţa, is a multidisciplinary research center focused on the study of tumor pathology established in 2015 as a result of a Project co-financed by the European Fund of Regional Development, no. 627 / 11.03.2014; ID: 1844; SMIS - CSNR: 48750, within the POS-CCE competition, Priority Axis II, Operation 2.2.1 - 2013-1.
The infrastructure and endowment within CEDMOG, with state-of-the-art equipment, which is also available on the ERRIS platform (https://erris.gov.ro/CEDMOG), allow the approach of topics of absolute novelty, which makes possible the research to those higher standards, in line with trends at European level.
This research-development infrastructure facilitates the development of research projects in which the Doctoral School of Medicine of "Ovidius" University is involved - and the access of PhD students to high-tech equipment and at the same time the development of new, cutting-edge fields in scientific research, including inter- and cross-disciplinary, in which there are the human and material resources necessary to reach a critical mass, as a prerequisite for achieving excellence, transferring the cutting-edge methods from research to the practical field of histopathological diagnosis.
Currently, the project is in the post-implementation monitoring phase.
